Remédios is a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Ponta Delgada, with an area of 5.56 km² and 931 inhabitants (2011). Its population density is 167.4 inhabitants/km².
The town of Remedios has a road that connects it with Mosteiros and Ponta Delgada.
The main activity is agriculture. It is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the northwest. It has mountains to the southeast.
Currently, the majority of the population works in Ponta Delgada, and there are fewer and fewer jobs in the parish. It has had a good development, thanks to the efforts of several entities.
Last year (2006) a book was written and released with a historical collection made by the parish priest, Paulo Borges. The same book recounts the origins and changes that the parish was subjected to.
